Pauline Bignell
Pauline started her mortgage broking journey at Aussie Home Loans in 2004. Her business partner and husband Derek joined her there in 2006 and they felt the time was right to open their own business in 2008.
After a few years as franchise owners with The Mortgage Gallery, We Know Loans was established in 2010.
Pauline moved to the Mornington Peninsula as a child and attended primary school and secondary school locally. After working in the adult education sector for many years Pauline had a complete career change to a role she believes combines her strengths of problem solving, customer service and communication.
Pauline has been active as a volunteer for many years, currently assisting “Share the Dignity” as a “Collections Queen” in the region and a board member for “I Matter Foundation”. She has previously volunteered at a local charity store and would love to do more when she has time!
Networking is very important to Pauline and she is a long term member of BNI Mornington (Business Networking International), currently serving as President and also a Director Consultant for the organization. She is a member of “The Business Forum” and was previously a long term member of Soroptimist International Mornington Peninsula. Pauline also launched and co-ordinates “Mornington Matters” an entrepreneurial women’s networking group based in Mornington. They support each other in business and the local community as a group.
Pauline holds a Bachelor of Business (Administration), a Diploma in Banking and Finance and additional qualifications for Commercial and Reverse Mortgage lending. She is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
In her spare time Pauline loves to spend time with family and friends, read, garden and sew.
Pauline thrives on finding solutions for customers that have been told “No” by a bank. She believes there is a home loan option for almost everyone!
